Hooray! The crops are in, we're not going to starve, and we can actually stuff ourselves!

Or whatever. Happy holiday to all!

“It is therefore recommended . . . for solemn thanksgiving and praise, that with one heart and one voice the good people may express the grateful feelings of their hearts and consecrate themselves to the service of their divine benefactor . . . .” -Samuel Adams

“How wonderful it would be if we could help our children and grandchildren to learn thanksgiving at an early age. Thanksgiving opens the doors. It changes a child's personality. A child is resentful, negative, or thankful. Thankful children want to give, they radiate happiness, they draw people.” – Sir John Templeton

As long as there are people out there giving thanks for Trump and what he represents, we will never be good people with one voice and one heart, nor should we be!

May all eat to much, drink a toast or two with family and friends in thankful appreciation of life and it's bounty. With hope of doing the same again next year!

Have a Happy Time of it all of you, it is only my second one without her and for some strange reason I try to find manual tasks to preoccupy me but it does not always work. After lunch I masked the glass sidelights on the front door. Weatherman says nice day tomorrow so I should be able to get the painting done. With the new storm door I could even paint the door itself on Christmas Day if I wanted to.
