Around here, oil/gas/shale pipelines generate most of the protests. There were no cops attacked, nevermind killed. I don't recall any destruction of property. Stores were definitely not looted. No one was assaulted. They took the matter to court and won: the pipeline was moved. BLM could learn a thing or hundred from them.
