I know TRump is encouraging this violence and sees it as a boost to his candidacy but enough is enough and I want it stopped.

My plan to stop this shit:

Rioters should be shot on site.

Bubba with a weapon acting as self proclaimed cop should be jailed and his weapon forever confiscated.

The protesters, baby strollers and all, should be given tickets and publicly shamed for being idiots with no life.

Cops who thank Bubba and offer water should lose their jobs.

Are we all on board?

Protests if peaceful have a place a right in this country. Hope they always will.

I see little movement by the authorities at real substantial changes to the actions of PD.

Here in the Derby the investigation appears to be flawed and smells of coverup. Local PD has been able to cool things down to a degree.

Rioters are taking advantage of the protests. Never should shooting unarmed people be condoned.

What is needed is constructive dialog. With solutions agreed upon. I feel that getting them registered to vote should be the first step. May be to late for that.

How about we address the issues of police mistreatment of blacks and other minorities and too many who get to be cops that shouldn't be plus the ones who need to be removed from the force. Address the underlying cause instead of trying to stop the symptom kind of a thing.

Have you forgotten about the LEO who knelt on a man's neck until he died? How about all the others who've been subjected to brutality at the hands of police and never had to answer for it? This sort of mistreatment is not some random rare occurrence. Putting a bandaid on the problem never solves the problem. As Oerets said "Protests if peaceful have a place a right in this country" . As long as some in law enforcement take justice into their own hands and their superiors allow it the protests of it will never end.

Not at all. If people had not been disruptive, and often enough shot on sight (and on site) we'd still have child labor working 12 hours a day six days a week. And Jim Crow.

I for one do not want to live in a police state.

See the problem with police it seems, in having immunity. Little oversight.

Add this to the vast differences in our society in wealth and privilege. With the apparent basis on race. Those at the bottom with a felling of what do we have to loose?

Now should better communication be attempted to let citizens know that PD is there to help keep the peace? Sure, just with the almost daily it seems shootings it will be hard to sell.

Educating the effected that resisting arrest or questioning is not helping rather hurting. Though do know that after being singled out over and over just because of your looks. That a breaking point can be reached.

I ask up to now nothing seems to be working to stop or address the issued raised by the protesters now does it?

Protests are all well and fine to a point but political and economic power are what's going to bring change.

Nope. If it hadn't been for hundreds of thousands of protesters marching against Nixon and his escalation of the war, we would still have troops in Vietnam.

Don't like protesters? Change the constitution.

Anyone else had it with the violence in the streets?Yes! How 'bout we address the issues at the root of the protesting to eliminate the protests which give cover to the violence?
Simple

Being unfamiliar with Bree Newsome Bass I did a Google search of her. Interesting young lady. She who took down the Confederate flag at the SC statehouse. I call her a young lady because at 63 I call anyone more than twenty years younger than me "young" :D

Also saw some interesting artwork of her.

There may still be a few who think BLM is the only driver of the protests.

Folks, getting close to the pitchforks and torches the rich are so worried about.

We have such a discrepancy in wealth and privilege now that will be coming to a head. I see this a motivation by the ones on top to be pushing for granting more powers to authorities.

Exactly true. Many at the top have lost faith that they are safe in democracy, and are going authoritarian.

Me? I'll have nothing to do with such horseshit besides vote.

If knuckle heads want to protest and riot, play vigilante endlessly they will need to do it without me.

It's nothing but the latest fade. What it really is pent up frustration with the Trump administration and a chess flex from the loser gun nuts.

Vote out TRump or watch democracy end.

Point blank, if I were young I move to Canada. This country is now a shit hole.

Correct.
