Apparently, even this right-wing SCOTUS can't find any credibility in the birther claims. Today the Court, for the second time, upheld the $20,000 sanctions (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/16/birther-queen-orly-taitz_n_683188.html)against the attorney pushing the frivolous claims in court.

That's the good news. The bad news is that Alito agreed to hear the case - even after Thomas had refused. :(

Orly Taitz is a freakin' lunatic. (Have you ever seen her in one of her rants (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZeXVVw8EZ0&feature=related) on the tube?) She needs to pay the fine and go away.

She too friggin' ignorant to see the irony of a Moldavan born bimbo challenging the birthplace of the President. How we as a nation give these idiots the time of day baffles me.

The twenty-four hour news cycle. First it gave us OJ. Now it's Orly Taitz and the Birthers.

CNN ruined the country. :rolleyes:

It is kind of interesting to see the wingnuts cheering for a woman, born in the former Soviet Union, using her mail-order law degree to challenge the legitimacy of a democratically elected president.

Hear, Hear! News at Six and Eleven, and it must be NEWS, not a 24/7 political rant. It's the only way we can regain our sanity. Told a friend the other day;
"I liked America better when few people gave a shit about politics."
