to receive instruction concerning the methods of prevention of AIDS if the parent or legal guardian of such pupil has filed with the principle of the school which the pupil attends a written request that the pupil not participate in such instruction, with an assurance that the pupil will receive such instruction at home."

I received this in the mail today in reference to my youngest entering high school.
It struck me as more needless paperwork for the school to keep a small block of votes from embracing the 21st century.
What do you think?

In the case of AID's, I feel it should be taught everywhere !

Fucking kids today are about as bright as a 1 3/4 watt bulb and to be honest I think thats giving them too much credit...

So far it seems we all agree. Which group do you suppose it is that lobbied to get this escape clause included in the legislation?
My guess is the religious (often pregnant) right.
Agree? Disagree?
