Don't watch the News Hour with Jim Lehrer because every so often as the photos become available they post them in silence. To see the faces of these gallant men and women breaks my heart.

Inconvenienced--sheesh.

My cousin's squadron (when he was a Navy Commander and pilot, now a Captain--still a pilot) was a very large group of "maintainers" of 18 and 19 year olds...they were all young enough to be his children. He often noted that they were the hardest working bunch of "kids" that he has ever known...many from very tough backgrounds and circumstances.
