Pat Condell is a militant atheist (emphasis on militant) and a perfect example of the intolerance he so insultingly rails against. Nuff sed, IMO.

There are a couple of regulars on YouTube that offer a somewhat more intelligent and much less inflammatory take on religion in general.

Sometimes they get a little pissy, usually with other Tubers, but they're really pretty interesting (and VERY easy on the eyes).

Militant? Maybe, but no more than the militants he's having a pop at. As for intelligent less inflammatory I watched the clips you linked to. Christina Rad? Yes, easy on the eyes but not the ears, much less the bongo she was interviewing. The Peach looks like ermmmmm; like a Peach but when you unravel what she's saying it could be summed up in very few words.

That's the thing about Utube. Give someone a platform and they will try to fill it.

Instead of people tiptoeing very nicely around, doing their best to be inoffensive and tolerant of everything, just sometimes they could perhaps be 'intolerant and insulting'? Do you feel any kinship with the way Islamists treat non believers?

Extreme Christians can be as bad though more focused. In the U.K. some evangelical nutcases believe that odd behavior in children (such as Epilepsy) shows the child to be "possessed by the devil", the only cure being to beat the devil out. Literally. Children have died while the Devil was being beaten out.

From the safety of my home I'm intolerant of extreme right wing or left wing politics. Examples would be Hitler and Stalin. Extreme right against extreme left. Damn all difference to the poor sods living in Germany or Russia at the time. It's the same with Islam. No matter how it started, it's become brutally intolerant, not just with Israel (who are far from perfect in the way they deal with their neighbors) but with anyone who dares show disrespect to their world view.
