Rep. Alan Grayson D-Fla in 2016! He's unbuyable and firmly in the corner of the middle class. What better candidate could we field?

Pros-cons?:)

Far too confrontational, IMO. Perfect for Congress but not for the White House.

Bob, so, you're for more civility in public discourse? :p

Although I prefer plain talkers myself. At least you know where they really stand. Or at least think you do.

I was just thinking the opposite. That what the Whitehouse needs is too be far more confrontational.

Can you say FDR. He had money and was not beholden to the wealthy elite. He called them out every chance he got. Grayson is in the same position. He is one of the few in Congress that calls a spade a spade. He lost in the tbagger craze of 2010, but his constituents saw the errors of their ways, and put him back where he belongs.

Maybe sanity will reign supreme again in Congress. I doubt it, Boner is still herding cats and McChinless is still throwing temper tantrums in the Senate.

Beware Republicans, people are finally waking up. You had your chance starting in 2010 and you blew it. If you cut off the "gifts" to the red states, who consume most of the government benefits, you are doomed. Please do it.
