What percentage of those deaths were the result of assault rifles?

Didn't the caring left have the ability to pass legislation? Wait one short second, they spent their political capitol on health care.

So at least the bullet can be removed?

Pete

PS I see PC has become a so************************t pond over the weekend :D

It'll be interesting to see how the NRA spins this one. Apparently, a drunk teenager was dropped off at home (actually a house two doors down that looked exactly like his) and the homeowner shot and killed the kid when he came in the house, mistaking him for an intruder.

Likewise, it will be interesting to see how gun control groups spin the story.

The way the article reads, it seems to me he was an intruder. I'm sorry he was killed, but none of us know what happened in the house, or what was said by either party. If the teenager was extremely drunk, belligerent and or incoherent, then what? He was (according to the story) attempting to go upstairs where the rest of the family was.

If he was unarmed, drunk and confused then it shouldn't have been too hard to subdue him. But, then, I wasn't there to see how it went down. (And neither were you.) But, I do have more than enough gun nuts in my life to know that some of them seem to relish the idea of finding an excuse.......................

Not sayin' that's the case here. Just sayin'.

Exactly. Tha'ts my point. Before anyone lays blame, let's see what the facts are.

Since when do people care about facts anymore. Public opinion is where its at man.
