“When we talk about fiscal spending, and we talk about protecting the taxpayers, it doesn’t mean you take that money we saved and leave the country for a personal purpose,” Colbert Busch declared early in the debate.
And just like that, it was clear she wasn’t there to play nice."

Make no mistake, this is a very conservative place but Sanford has no real friends left.

It'll still be close. I was just down in South Carolina last week. It was interesting that nearly all of the Sanford campaign signs I saw were made (or made to appear) home-made. All were black spray paint on pieces of plywood propped up in yards. When I saw the first few, I thought to myself that he had a lot of grassroots support. Then, I noticed that all the signs looked almost exactly alike with precisely the same caption.

They were indeed contrived by the campaign.

FWIW, I saw precious few Colbert-Bush signs outside of Charleston (where they were still in the minority). Both candidates are from Charleston. BTW, Rand Paul endorsed Sanford. That would hurt in a sane area. However, this is South Carolina.

I guess Home Despot is backing Sanford? Maybe they'll donate that plywood to Habitat for Humanity after the election?;)

Ron Reagan just characterized this race as a democrat against an delusional narcissist. So it's a toss up in South Carolina...

Oh, but he's a God fearin' Republican, washed clean of all sins in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore all of his transgressions are forgiven...even the ones he plans on committing if he's re-elected.

Isn't that how it works with the glassy-eyed Stepford voters here, in the Bible Belt?

Sanford appears to have some unclean thoughts towards Nancy Pelosi...
Did anyone see his roadside debate with a lifesize photo of her?http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/images/smilies/lmao.gif
