So what do you think?
Did this guy really survive that long at sea??
There doesn't seem to be any other explanation.

A scientist said concerning this fairy tale that it is necessary to drink at least one litre water (not salty ocean water) a day in order to survive. It is a deception, in my opinion.

I went to sea in 1983 and never came back.

Well, not mentally, anyhow.

What struck me was how well fed the guy looked. Fat and sassy he was, if not a little overgrown. Not at all like what one would expect from someone living on birds and whatever he could catch at sea.

Fishing for book and movie rights, not for survival.

Professional fisherman in a fishing boat, surviving that long isn't a stretch of the imagination. Lot's of potable water in a fish.

Maybe..... But they found no fishing equipment on his boat. Also, I saw a picture of the boat and it was a small two person type boat.

I'm not doubting he was lost at sea....and there is no evidence contrary to his story...... I just find it incredible that he survived for that long of time.

As someone said earlier.... Book and movie soon to come....

And there we have it.;) I'm not sure Robert Redford wants to do a sequel to his latest film already.
