My neighbors are doing well. I can't believe the growth that has taken place since I started working on my project property.

Could hops be a viable product for your land?

Good!

It is heartwarming to see the growing number of farmers making a conscious effort to incorporate Eco friendly methods in their undertakings.

Most of my life has been spent in an environment of asphalt and concrete. I
come to now envy those who find themselves involved with the green of this
earth. This year all being well I plan to visit up state NY where there are some
really committed apple growers.

I would love to go with you.
We've planted 18 Apples & they are surviving with very little care. I throw them 15 gallons of water every 6 weeks, but that will end after 1 year.

Congrats on your efforts DJ. We only have five trees in our somewhat small yard, but the Maple gives us a treat every fall with its color.

How long before your apple trees bear fruit?

Regards,

D-Ray

The ones that survive the next test should produce in 5 years. I'm using a full size/vigorous rootstock that will take longer than typical nursery stock.

We have planted over 100, but then our 'yard' is 4.47 acres.:)

We have 12.5, but it looks like it will be 17 acres soon. :)
The 18 is only the Apples. I've lost count of all the tree & bushes.
