The train doesn't stop here anymore.

Where does that observation take root?

It takes root in paint. Because hydrants only dance in the moonlight and vests have no sleeves.

Your nipples explode with delight.

There was a warning sign on the doors of the German railway wagons:

"Nicht öffnen bevor der Zug hält"

"(in French)"

"(in Italian)"

"Do not open before the train stops"

Those were the days when the railway wagons got no automatic doors.

Ed, this is the answer to your question, it is from the Book of Changes:

"The Tao is forever changing - alteration, movement without rest."

When nobody goes there anymore because it's too crowded.

Understanding may be aided by not having English as one's first language. To you, lots of things sound like that--you are used to teasing meaning out of elliptical idioms and novel metaphors.

Where does that observation take root?

Treating it as a serious statement, the decline of small towns generally due to limited opportunities and the exodus of younger citizens.

I hope that Ed will explain to me the meaning of his post. If I should totally misunderstood him it is high time to learn some English.

Elton John: This train don't stop there anymore.

A cessation of a love connection.

You may not believe it
But I don't believe in miracles anymore
And when I think about it
I don't believe I ever did for sure
All the things I have said in songs
All the purple prose you bought from me
Reality's just black and white
The sentimental things I'd write
Never meant that much to me

Your English is fine. My posts are not anymore.

A few years ago I already sounded like a political broken record. Anymore I have some fleeting thoughts and write them with whatever is at hand, such as my keyboard. My hope is that somehow my thought bits will at least spark an idea for others.

This train bit is an echo from my last visit to Germany. My cousin told me of our little town, that the train doesn't stop here anymore. It hit me like an American country song and in that moment I saw another bond between Bavarians and Rednecks.
