True.

New Mexico has a population density of only 17 per square mile. California is 242 per square mile. So a 10% unemployment rate would show up a lot brighter in California than New Mexico.

Agreed. Strange though how some state borders show so clearly. Looking at Chicago, it's a lot dimmer than Cleveland.
