Storm in the White House
Republicans flee the storm over Stormy Daniels and President Trump
Quote:
Now we have secret gag orders, counter suit invalidating the hush agreement and so on. Stormy is only liable at worst for $1.13M if she were to officially go public. And if she does, this becomes a campaign finance violation. Quote:

Anyone else catch in the legal papers pa·ter·ni·ty was mentioned.

...and the plot thickens...

I can't believe Larry Flynt of 'Hustler' magazine hasn't put up a bounty on a version of 'Deadbeat' Donny's "blue dress".

This storm just won’t stop blowin’ towards Donny.

But wait, there’s more. :D
The Stormy Daniels Scandal Gets Serious https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/09/o...ump-cohen.html Norman Eisen, the chairman of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington and Barack Obama’s former ethics czar, points out another potential violation on Trump’s part. He calls it the “Al Capone problem.” The Daniels NDA refers repeatedly to “property” that she agreed to turn over to Trump, including video images, still images, emails and text messages. Eisen argues that Trump was required to report ownership of this property, as well as any obligations he might have had to reimburse Cohen for the $130,000, in his federal financial disclosure forms. “The asset here is this incredibly valuable agreement with Stormy,” Eisen told me. “Imagine what she could get if she has texts or images. Imagine the millions she could command! So there’s this incredibly valuable agreement, and the L.L.C., Essential Consultants, which Trump now appears to be a beneficiary of. That’s an asset.” But it’s an asset Trump didn’t reveal. |

Among other things, the NDA forbids her from discussing Trump’s “alleged children” or “paternity information.” |
Adult-film actress Stormy Daniels has recorded an interview for CBS's "60 Minutes" after filing a civil suit against President Trump this week in an attempt to void a nondisclosure agreement between the pair.
A source familiar with the program told The Hill that Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, will appear on “60 Minutes” on a future date... http://thehill.com/homenews/media/37...utes-interview Must-see TV. |
So, will Donny's personal lawyer take the fall for Donny, including prison time and/or disbarment? Or will he squeal on Donny? Stay tuned!
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...-election-law/ The only way in which Cohen could have paid the $130,000 without having violated campaign finance laws is if he were totally independent of the campaign and, as a private individual, decided to give Daniels the money to buy her silence. But Cohen was clearly empowered to act on behalf of the campaign, including appearing on CNN to speak on its behalf about campaign staffing changes. To assume that no campaign finance laws were broken means assuming either that: The payment had nothing to do with the campaign, or Cohen had nothing to do with the campaign. Neither seems at all likely. |
Cohen now claims he took out a $130K home equity line of credit to pay off Stormy. I'm not sure that changes anything for him or the Dotard. Wouldn't it be something if this took Trump down before Mueller drops the hammer. What a feckin' den of thieves.
