(BTW, this is a 'push poll.' No answers necessary.)

Asking implies answer.

Good. You've got the push poll concept!

Try as you might to claim otherwise, but health care in the US has not been a free market for a hundred years, back when you traded chickens to a doctor for his snake oil or leeches. Here's an article by a conservative of why and how free market economics do not and cannot work for health care.

And he has just touched the surface as to why health care cannot be delivered under a true free market model - the underlying prerequisites for free market conditions in modern health care simply do not and cannot exist in this country nor any other modern first world economy.

If the article points out that cost effective health care is an oxymoron under free market economics due to the demand curve for health care being essentially inelastic, I fully concur. Inelastic demand and health care being a consumer product are primarily why our free market health care system is so expensive. For modern health care to be cost effective in a modern economy the profit motive needs to be eliminated. Socialized medicine is the answer and I don't see this happening anytime soon.

Not-for-profit works for me. Love Kaiser, hard for me to rationalize for-profit healthcare. Seems very wrong.

You want single payer? Vote straight Democratic from top to bottom. Then show loyalty by voting for whomever is the Democratic nominee, whether you like the person or not.
Do it over and over year in and year out.

Otherwise you get bad results like a Trump.
