We're Number.......... 16!

This is pretty tough to take. The richest country in the world is content to have a third of its children living in poverty. And who's leading the way? All those pinko soshulist countries in Europe, that's who.

Remember when Rubio said that Bernie would be a fine president...... for Sweden? Their child poverty rate is little more than a third of ours.

Sure, but we have guns and freedom here, or something.

And still doing better than us.

It's because we're still deeply concerned about the happiness of our billionaires.

Exactly. But that is the same the whole world over.

I just got back from Canada and it did not appear to me that there was anywhere near the economic disparity there that we have in the U.S. Yet I was surprised to see that they did not appear as one of the 15 countries above us in the chart. So I check inside the report and found that their child poverty rate is in the low 20's while ours was in the low 30's. So obviously they belong ahead of us. I wonder how many more there are?

We have gone from 37 to 38th in infant mortality last year and we (Congress) can't even fund Zika prevention which should be a no brainer. Kinda just like when Raygun ignored AIDS, guess the dumbass figured ignore it and it will go away?

Thereby making us #17.

At best.

Actually, in 2013 we were #34.

In 2013 we were at about 23%. And since then, the rate has risen to 32%, an increase of 39%.

Note that Italy is ahead of us and they have the highest childhood poverty rate in Europe.
