We are sorry folks. Until the maintenance is done we cannot reopen AK. I will keep everyone updated here, on our facebook page and on VK.

Morning, Dave. Good to see you round these parts.

Mr. Lin 08-23-2011 10:14 AM

Hey Erik. I signed up a while back (obviously) but haven't been around much since then, for no other reason than I spend all my internet time on AK.

Do I have to scream about how Obama is ruining this country until I pop a vein in my neck to hang out here?

AAA3330 08-23-2011 10:44 AM

Another AK junkie here. Sometimes I forget how addictive AK can be for us audio nuts. Looks like I'm not alone.:) The good thing is that I'm now a member of Politicalchat.org.

We even talk about music, stereo gear, and the weather from time to time. No way this place will lose it's AK roots.

Yeah, next time you want to vent your spleen about what [fill in politician here] is doing, instead of getting a warning from the mods over there, you can come over and vent to your heart's content. Be careful though, political venting (er, I mean discourse) can become addictive as well.

Regards,

D-Ray

Heart, spleen? Nice use of anatomy, D-Ray. All you need is someone's liver and a nice chianti.

I don't particularly like any politicians (and I go to church with a state senator and former US congressman) so I don't post a lot over here. I suppose I could get whipped up into a religious fervor though. :D

RichPA 08-23-2011 02:25 PM

I haven't checked more than 50 times, tops :D

Well, when we are talking about Congress, there is no need to mention brains. For that matter, might as well leave off the spinal column and part of the male reproductive anatomy. There are plenty of Pr**ks, but not a lot of testes. After having observed the physique of many in those offices, It would not be accurate to say they have no guts. :p

D-Ray
