I think they probably liked Pope Benedict with his Hitler Youth credentials (though he and his family were no fans of the Teppichfresser).;)

Not after the Holy Father put his foot in it about birth control, he is toeing the Vatican line.

He is going to be as popular as a skunk at a picnic among the women folk. Right in line with the marriage ceremony - a man and a woman go into the church and a man and a wife comes out. His status has not changed but hers has, now why is that I wonder.

Our pastor was politely asked to declare us husband and wife, and he complied.
