Virginia Rednecks Let Their Freak Flag Fly
 

Some jagoffs thought it a good idea to fly a 22x30' Confederate flag on private land right next to I-95 near Fredericksburg, VA. While I understand freedom of expression and property rights, this seems to me to be a deliberate provocation to me by a bunch of Lost Cause @ssholes.

I'm not big on political correctness, but deliberately provoking people, many of whom had slave ancestors (and may indeed still face some level of racism) is insensitive in the extreme.

Tatoo it on your ass if you want to, but don't fly it on the Interstate.

I thought they were flying it on private property.

Don't you think it's about time for people to dump the chip on their shoulders and just dry up about how rough their ancestors had it?

This is no more than a divisrsion, and a cheap political ploy.

Firing on Ft Sumpter was clearly a miscalculation of probabilities and Lincolns Unionist determination tho some still insist on referring to it as "the war of Northern agression".
