Two Despised Frontrunners, How Did We Get Here?

Ironic isn't it?

Donald Trump was viewed favorably by just 24 percent of the voters surveyed, and unfavorably by 57 percent, making him by far the least-liked major-party frontrunner since CBS began asking this question in 1984.

Who’s in second place, in this historic sweepstakes of hate? Hillary Clinton, in the same poll: She was viewed favorably by 31 percent and unfavorably by a mere 52 percent.

The dems will lose the election because of it. I do suspect though that this is the ultimate game plan, because it's also the republicans turn to play ball, and that republicans will not confirm the SCOTUS only adds to my suspicion that they know it's their turn and they will win. We don''t have elections, we have elaborate farces......

The difference between Hillary and Trump is that Hillary is the hand picked by the elites candidate, while Trump is the insurgent outsider.

I think the fact that the Republicans had so many candidates in the beginning to split the establishment vote up, that it gave him an opening.

Hillary on the other hand had the path cleared for her.

I believe that if Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden had been in, Hillary would have gone the way of Jeb and Warren would be the front runner. Why those two chose to stay out, I don't know, but it could very well be that they were pressured to do so.

While true, this has no bearing whatsoever of which will be a better President. Besides, "establishment" has come to mean anyone but one's own candidate.

I thought the heading referred to the two Republican frontrunners.
Oh, well----.

Cruz is averaging 33% favorable and 53% unfavorable.

That's very similar to Hillary's numbers.

But he's not a front runner.

Last I read that Trey Gowdy(?) still has intentions of indicting Hillary for anything he can fabricate to do it with. Bernie should stay in the race.

You haven't noticed Clinton has record high "unfavorable" ratings? Come on now.

The thing I'm most afraid of is Trump winning on account of low turnout. Republicans always turn out. Democrats need to be in love and nobody really loves Hillary.

Mebbe they need to get a bigger shotgun.
