Suozzi Wins In NY!

Suozzi wins New York special election, replacing George Santos
The Democrat prevailed in a race that centered heavily on immigration - WP

A heavily leaning rightwing seat goes blue on Long Island.

Excellent news. I'm amazed the Repubs tried such an off-brand candidate here. Desperation ploy?

So much winning......

Keep it up!

It's interesting because the NYT was saying it was a very tight race. Suozzi ending up winning by nearly 8 percent.

Either that's what the NYT considers close, or the polling is not reliable.

Polls don't vote, people do.

My theory is there's some percentage of people who have a 'white Christian Republican' identity, and strongly feel they are 'supposed' to vote MAGA, and say they will to pollsters--but nonetheless, in the privacy of the voting booth, choose not to. God bless them!

The picture says a thousand words. She is an Ethiopian/Israeli (immigrant) Defense Forces soldier prior to immigration to the US. Worse yet as I just found out, she is actually a registered Democrat running as a Republican.

Precisely. The Jesus Johnson House of Repugnants rushed a risky second vote yesterday to impeach Mayorkas just before the NY special elections polls closed, so they knew.

Also our "All Time Favorite" Ex-President had these choice things to say when Mazi lost.

“Republicans just don’t learn, but maybe she was still a Democrat? I have an almost 99% Endorsement Success Rate in Primaries, and a very good number in the General Elections, as well, but just watched this very foolish woman, Mazi Melesa Pilip, running in a race where she didn’t endorse me and tried to ‘straddle the fence,’ when she would have easily WON if she understood anything about MODERN DAY politics in America,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“MAGA, WHICH IS MOST OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, STAYED HOME - AND IT ALWAYS WILL, UNLESS IT IS TREATED WITH THE RESPECT THAT IT DESERVES. I STAYED OUT OF THE RACE, ‘I WANT TO BE LOVED!’ GIVE US A REAL CANDIDATE IN THE DISTRICT FOR NOVEMBER. SUOZZI, I KNOW HIM WELL, CAN BE EASILY BEATEN!” he added.

I say let's give them exactly the respect they deserve.
