UK has just grounded the Boeing 737 max 8. This is the latest after a number of other countries did the same. Really bad news for Boeing.

The Ethiopian crash of this type Boeing and the similarity to a crash six months ago have sapped confidence in the plane.

Hopefully Boeing truly finds the answer.

Boeing should have grounded them all already, and should do do now.

Probably the billions of dollars at stake have colored the decision not to ground.

So, Trump's idiotic shutdown may have contributed to Boeing not implementing a timely fix and subsequently the crash in Ethiopia???

Ayup. 157 souls including 8 Americans dead because Donnie Dillweed was indulging in a tantrum like a three year old spoiled brat.

Sure would be nice if congress clipped his wings and made him pay for these almost weekly golf outings at his private golf clubs.

So, they finally grounded the US fleet but it's unclear if that was a decision made by Boeing or the FAA.

They should make him fly in a 737 Max 8 as Air Force One. Better yet, after his ridiculous tweet the other day, make him pilot it.

Since Prez Dillweed thinks simpler is better let's give him a lump of paraffin and a couple of feather pillows. He can make like Icarus on his next sojourn to Mar el Lago.

It's about time they were grounded in the USA.
