What's happening in Poland?
Recently unionists took to the streets in Poland to protest:
attack on pension; worsting working condition; meager salaries etc. I thought Poland was on the up and up. http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/...45a_story.html |
Looks like the government is trying deflationary policies on an economy that is already pretty weak. The one paragraph where the nurse says she is only making $630 a month says it all. I think they do not want to see their quality of life degrade any more.

sounds pretty familiar to me.
... the government never listens to workers’ needs. “Our situation is getting worse and worse, and our government doesn’t listen to us,” “We want them to hear us today, to hear our protest and to know that they don’t govern very well.” |

Stands to reason as they are officially the Republic of Poland.

100,000 to 120,000 protesters? That's huge.

...can't stand REPUBLICans too!

Apparently, they haven't learned to beat their unions down so no one can fight those things. We should send them Rush Limbaugh and Governor Walker, those guys can achieve what Polands Communist Party couldn't, you betcha!!!!!
