I'd just watched Singing in the Rain last week. Always liked Debbie, Her characters always had a special charisma and pluck. One of a kind she was. Rest in peace..... :(

I have probably seen every movie of hers a few times.

It is understandable that Debbie would follow Carrie. I watched as my mother buried my oldest brother - tore her heart out.
