Rep. Trent Franks Begged his Staff for a Baby Mama
 

A former aide to Republican Rep. Trent Franks has told The Associated Press the congressman repeatedly pressed her to carry his child, at one point offering her $5 million to act as a surrogate.

WTF???

I was curious as to how he could offer $5M, not chump change by any means. I am sure he could have found someone else to carry his sperm for a lot less, a whole lot less. So why the $5 Million offer? Enquiring me wants to know. :)

Also this Christian demagogue is worth a whole lot of money, $33M.

It's not easy to get a 'dependable' person to enter into an unenforceable contract like this. He was willing to offer a lot to get a candidate he felt comfortable with.

Did not realize the legal jeopardy of such arrangements. Guess what is in your body belongs to you. I Googled surrogate mother rates and came up with well under a $100K. Also I must say that somehow this does not sound very Christian (not that I am one), if it was not God's will etc. :)

Trent, like all these other accused Repubs, is merely following God's directive to be fruitful and multiply.
