People on the whole have been shifting from politics and news to sports and Maury.

Everybody testing for DNA and taking lie detector tests.

Plus the young are into their computers and game boxes 24/7.

Blogs have probably put a large dent in the ratings too.

Would that an equal number of FOXNEWS fans were intelligent enough to know when they're being fed a load of horseshit, eh?

I think people are just losing interest in general. Losing 18% of viewership, while the least of the losses, is still nothing for them to be happy about. I quit watching any of them months ago.

I'm hoping that most people, across the political spectrum, are realizing it's all just hogwash propaganda. That it's the clowns on "cable news" and other media outlets that are driving the wedge between us. Maybe we Americans don't really hate each other so much after all?

That's what I hope, anyways.:)
