LA Clippers (NBA team) taped making unbelievably racist remarks
 

It'll be interesting to see what the new NBA commissioner will (or is able to) do about it. What will the players do (they have a playoff game tomorrow)? 86% of the Clipper roster is African-American and 4 out of 6 coaches are as well.

Can you believe an NBA owner would and could say such a thing? BTW, he's a repeat offender.

Are you kidding? Of course a rich entitled white guy would be quite capable of making such statements, as would a member of the working class, the professional class, the political class or the clergy. Even though overt racism has become socially unacceptable in most segments of society, it survives.

I guess the worst part of it is that he is an NBA owner, earning millions off the efforts of a predominately African-American team with an African-American coach.

I agree, but he's entitled, don't ya see. But I suppose that is type of entitlement is going to be protected because he's a job creator.

If it is indeed him on the tape, I suspect the league will be forced to suspend him like they did with Marge Schott, at the very least. The new commissioner's handling of this will be interesting.

According to the report during the game last night, he agreed to skip this playoff game while the investigation is ongoing.
