That's right. I forgot they closed down the S&W plant/plants. A crying shame:(

It's tons of other stores, companies and entire shopping centers that have closed or had huge permanent layoffs. We even had a hospital close in 1995.

Winchester/U.S. Repeating Arms Co. down in New Haven, Connecticut shut down in 2006, and the Springfield Armory closed in 1968.

Colt, Ruger, Savage, they're still in business as far as I'm aware.
