DOH! We need more smileys, emoticons!

More smiley faces is what I meant, I'm already feeling sticky. Might cut down on some bruised, sissy egos. I'm a hunt and peck typist, not to mention a mouthy SOB and a senior member:rolleyes: So, how about it Grumps? Just give us AK's smileys and I'll try to be nice.............

I tried. I was ridiculed and lambasted, then ultimately ignored.

They seem to hate smileys. I don't know why.

Everyone know how to paste a smilie in from elsewhere?

Find a smilie you want from anywhere (like AK ). Right click on the smilie. Scroll down the popup menu to 'properties' and select it. There is a line 'Address (URL)'. For example our grinning smilie :D address is

http://politicalchat.org/offroad/ima...ons/icon10.gif

Highlight the entire text there, rightclick again, and select 'copy'.

Directly above our 'reply to thread' text window is a number of small pictures or icons. One of them, 5th from the right on the lowest row, looks like a postcard of a mountian. Click it.

A window will open that says 'enter your URL'. Backspace to clear what's in there already, rightclick you mouse and select 'paste'.

To continue using our grinning smilie as an example, if I did it correctly this will show in the 'enter your URL' box:

http://politicalchat.org/offroad/ima...ons/icon10.gif

and select 'OK'.

If it works, you'll get:

http://politicalchat.org/offroad/ima...ons/icon10.gif

Btw this will work for almost any image online, not just smilies.

LOL! There was just a recent incident on VK that involved too much use of the dancing banana, it was making everyone nuts! I thought it was funny as hell but others sure didn't.....http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/funny/2/banana.gif
