GOP Senator Rips Up Norquist Pledge

GOOD FOR HIM!
A crack in the bubble. Barney |
I'm very glad to see this but I can't bring myself to think better of Chambliss as a result. His campaign against Max Cleland was one of the most reprehensible I've ever seen.

I still think we might be better off if we just went "over the cliff".

I think going over it would hurt Obama too soon post election and slow his momentum...not to mention putting us back into a recession. We need stimulus right now. Look for a deal. This may a sign it is going to happen.
Our credit rating may go down again. |
Yep, credit rating would take a hit just like when the flea baggerz held up increasing the debt limit.
It sure is great to see somebody tell Norquist to go f**k himself. I saw that dipstick Norquist on TV saying it would be best to kick the can down the road at this point rather than increase any taxes. Unbelievable how anybody would associate themselves with that punk. I suppose the farm bill isn't getting through either. Carl |
