Being from his hometown and all. Have a long history of his influence on my take on life.

From as a kid and his name change and draft arguing with my parents. Seeing the issues with total different view points.

Had the pleasure of meeting him twice when working at the airport. In his years of battling illness he still had a sparkle in his eye! Wanted to give me a autograph and both times "just said Just want to shake your hand" was all. He did , wow what big hands he had, did not want them punching you!
Wife met him in a elevator once. He did magic tricks during the ride.
Like all humans he was a completed multilayered one. Not perfect just tried to be his own good person, and help others.

A life well lived IMHO!

It's in the line up here.

A truly fascinating individual.

Like anyone else you know deep down.
He will let you down to then also at times elevate.

Well except ........:rolleyes:....... "T" the First!:eek:

I have it recorded for later viewing. I really enjoyed the Ali center in Louisville. Quite comprehensive and well curated.
