Aetna jacks sm.biz healthcare rates 30% in California

:rolleyes:http://www.ocregister.com/articles/i...na-health.html

Aetna sticks it to small businesses in California! Healthcare premiums to take a 30% hike over the next 25 months. Another disturbing statitistic was that they showed a 27% profit. Another good reason to take these rapacious corporations out of the equation.
Funny thing was I got a call from the Governor asking me to sign a petition while I was reading this article. I started to ask him how the hell he got dumped by Linda Ronstadt when I realized it was robo call. :D Silly me, just when I was thinkin' I was special...:)

Simple free market solution, make the same amount of money and cover less people. With more and more people loosing coverage just raise the rates for those who still are covered.

Around and around we go....swirling and twirling a sinister dance as we slide into the maelstrom.

And, the answer is to charge people more for having the gall to get sick............

This could very well be our shining path to a glorious future. When Mitt and his crew come to save us from ourselves.

My objection was to these asswipes making 27% and then jacking up their premiums 30%. Where does free come into play?

We all have it, and it ain't free. We just don't have people making huge amounts of money off of it.
