Liberals say "If only we could just get them to care."

Conservatives say "If only we could just kill them." :(

Nah. Folks just express themselves in different ways, and we have to be patient and tolerant of folks choice of expression. Here, for example, is how Dems express themselves, in their typical reasoned and intellectual fashion:

...with, of course, one of their elected party leaders applauding.

That's the kind of world republicans want.

Only people who agree with them 100% allowed.

Women must know their place.

People of color must know their place.

Poor people must know their place.

Rich white man rule, everyone else obey without question.

And it you don't know your place, you should be killed.

That's the "freedom" republicans envision.

Are you stating your approval of Farenthold's comments?

More likely, your default argument is whataboutery, and you can't stop yourself from trying to use it to flip any criticism of the Getting Older Party.

And while you typed the above, the lefties in the Senate just inherited the mantle of the "party of no", by voting "no" on even engaging in debate.

The Rep in the article didn't say that.

True enough, but your counter example is lame.
