First off, welcome to the forum. You might want to introduce yourself in the introductions forum.
That is an extremely broad question, but I will do my best. Technology has made much of the world instantly accessible in many ways. Air travel has the other side of the world a matter of hours away. The interchange between nations under such circumstances is simply a fact of life. There would be no way to stop such interaction. Accordingly, it is in the best interest of all that that interchange occur peaceably.
If there is to be a world unity of any sort, we would be best served by a unified international work force. Having organized employees all over the world would not only improve the conditions for such workers, it would make American labor more price competitive - and it would create greater markets for not only American goods, but for the cheap crap foisted on us.
Regards,
D-ray
