The German authorities now fear that salafists will try to make islamic refugees their followers. This is a serious concern.

If that somehow becomes more attractive than economically integrating into German society, perhaps.
These folks should be encouraged to thrive, but extremism by fanatics on either side cannot be tolerated.

These salafists proceed like the Pied Piper of Hamelin (last year, for example, they gave away tenthousands of Koran books in the pedestrian precincts of the big cities to ordinary German people), so I think that some of the migrants may not resist their perfide promises.

The possibility of Salifism identifying Islam at large is worrisome. Similar problem with fundementalists in Judaism and Christianity as well. All this over taking someone's word for something unprovable.

Like here in the US, they will be a benefit to the treasury and to society. The German people have always had good relations with the various Muslim countries.
