Nick Ashford passed away yesterday at the age of 70. He is of course 50% of one of Soul's most prolific & accomplished songwriting teams: Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson. He was also a member of that most resplendent performing duo known to us as Ashford & Simpson.

Rest in peace forever, brother.
