I suppose it depends on your definition of in dispute. If the outcome of a 90-10 basketball game is still in dispute, then human contributions to climate change are still in dispute.

Acting US ambassador to China resigns over Trump's idiotic decision. Really, who in their right mind would want to be associated with the worst administration in history?

Parents are filling their kids' heads with anti science nonsense, making science teachers' jobs difficult. Works just like racism, it's instilled at a young age, very hard to change. Sad.

This can be a simple argument if all it was about was the economy, jobs and money. Seeing the world switching to renewable energy and get in front of it. Not clinging to an old outdated technology, but to be the one supplying the new jobs and technology.

The rest of the world has figured this out long ago. But this country of greed just lost it's role of leadership in favor of misguided Nationalism. Forgetting what made this country great for so long, our manufacturing and innovation superiority.

I will not be around but my descendants will know Pappy warned of, not scoffed at climate changes.

Excellent story, illustrations from the field of how ego and culture defensiveness can get attached to beliefs, and how hard it is for facts when that happens.

Going places and touching things is a great way to get reality through the defenses. Getting the kids out into the world away from their isolated corner of Ohio, or even to places there that are usually avoided (the orange creek) was probably the best thing the teacher did.

Look, it's all about white guy rule, Jesus, and guns. Nothing else matters. (Follow the money.)
