I'm fixing to go on a cutting spree. The personal insults are now subject to deletion. I'm not planning to waste too much time going back to cut things out, although I would not discourage anyone from removing anything that they aren't proud of. But when I see personal insults that have nothing to do with the exchange of ideas, I will become scissor-happy. What a waste of cyberspace!

Folks, my point here is that this site spun off of one of the most civilized places on the web, and I would hate for us to forget our AK roots. Sometimes it is hard to draw the line between vigorous debate and flat out insults, but it's worth a try. I know that I'm guilty of crossing the line myself, and I'll try to practice what I preach.

It looks like you had a busy day. Half the content is now gone. Personally, I find the name calling innocuous and at times rather funny. I viewed it as banter amongst friends.

Hey! I haven't poked my head in here for a spell.

I sure would have been curious to know what comments and responses have been eliminated from these pages.

Just for my own clarification, the selective altering of the historical record is a good thing, right?
