Crisis and Openings: Introduction to Marxism - Richard D Wolff

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9Whccunka4This is more excellent and more easy to understand. Fast forward to any place in the class and have your eyes and ears open.

I think I fixed the link.

I catch Richard Wolff frequently on KPFA and on Thom Hartmann. He's quite erudite and perceptive and makes quite a good case for Marxist ideology.

The problem with such ideologies is that they propose to make everyone love their fellows and look what happened to the last man who suggested we should love our neighbors.

That's tantamount to pulling a rabbit out of a hat IMO.

Marx never ever never ever proposed any ideologies. All he did was critique capitalism. That is it. Nothing more. He never advocated anything. He never advocated at all. He wasn't an advocate. He simply critiqued capitalism. Everyone thinks he was this mysterious radical. They are all wrong.

He is going to be here next week. I am going to go see him in Santa Ana. He will also be in Newport.
