Notice Regarding Photo Size
As a courtesy to other members, anyone posting a photograph or other attachment within a post should make sure that the insert does not distort the screen size. That is, if posted photos are so large that they make others reading a thread scroll from side to side to read the thread, the photos are too large. It is the responsibility of each poster to resize photos to a manageable size. 800x600 pixels works pretty well. The following photo is reduced to 800 x600.
That is about the max size before the margins start getting stretched. Neither Pete nor I have the time to resize photos, so any over-size photos will be removed if we see them or they are brought to our attention. Anyone whose photos have been removed are free to reinsert a resized photo. p.s. Photobucket has free online photo editing software. It generally comes with windows too. Regards, D-Ray |
Good idea.
Just as an FYI, Firefox users (and probably users of other browser) can right click on an image and then click on "View Image". That displays the image separately from the original post and sizes it to fit your browser window. John |
Great idea and thank you John for the help.

Bump. ;)

I'm not sure if I have violated this rule or not. I post from my smart phone and the format is different.
Please let me know if I'm contributing to the problem. |
A reminder.
