Ex-drug CEO Shkreli convicted
Former drug company CEO Martin Shkreli was convicted Friday on three counts of deceiving investors in hedge funds.
The 34-year-old faces years in prison, according to CNBC. Shkreli became notorious for hiking the price of a lifesaving treatment called Daraprim by more than 5,000 percent overnight after buying up the drug. The drug is mostly used by AIDS and cancer patients as well as pregnant women. http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefi...-in-fraud-case One fraud down, one fraud to..... :) |
