EU Goes After Starbucks and Fiat Chrysler On "Legal" Tax Dodging Comfort Letters

Basically they were making complicated transactions between branches of their companies in different countries so as to decrease tax liability, with the permission of the Netherlands and Luxembourg governments who issued them "comfort letters" giving them the ability to do this. The EU is going after them because they say Netherlands and Luxembourg broke the law by granting both of these companies this privilege exclusively. |
I have been boycotting Starbucks for several years now. Mine is from personal experience not to mention their coffee is lousy.

Mcdonald's coffee is much better.
I am drinking ground Starbucks Expresso Roast but I bought it at a water store run by a guy who sells items at discount discarded by the major chains. |
