Yep, and that's what angers them the most. They can't, (or a least encounter stiff opposition), use public schools to prosletyze their religion. It's a few hours a day, wherein their kids are out from under their sway, developing friendships and relations with a diverse crowd.

Lord knows we can have that. It might lead to unspeakable horrors such as empathy, tolerance and understanding.

Of course there is the rub, few love themselves so cannot be expected to love others.

When most folks wail about "God not being allowed in schools," they're really saying "my (Christian) God not being exclusively allowed in schools."

Screw that.

or trust them, at the very least. Wise insight, my friend. Love is everything, the rest is just details.

On the subject of trust, an old saying that I've heard goes something like this "he who looks under the bed has been there".

As Rabbi Hillel put it "Do not do unto others that which is displeasing to you. That is the law, all the rest is mere commentary."
