The bipartisan proposal brought by six Senators to the shithole meeting addressed all four areas Trump said that must be addressed: DACA, border security, chain migration and merit-based immigration and he blew it up with his racist comment. Rather than working with this proposal (as he promised he would just Tuesday. in his silly public meeting), he blows it up and rather than apologize for his racist comment to restart the process, he today blames Democrats for killing immigration reform in an effort to withhold funds from the military.
