Energy Department is scrutinizing hydraulic fracturing for natural Gas. Ground water is a very big part of the investigation. Just hope it not like letting the fox watch the hen house.

The Texas Water Development Board estimates the total amount of water used for fracking statewide in 2010 was 13.5 billion gallons. This is when they are in a drought right now.
