Language is such a poor tool, and in a forum we have even less possibilities to express ourselves than in reality, here we miss body language, facial language, the way we stress words and so on. Smilies are actually not very helpful.

And one more thing. I like to qoute Hermann Hesse's Siddhartha:

"Words do not express thoughts very well. They always become a little bit different immediately they are expressed, a little distorted, a little foolish."
