Who is profiting from this news story? What party does this woman person belong to? And what is the motivation now and not before. IMO, an extrovert and a look at me woman does not pass the litmus test that she was afraid to speak against Franken then.

What you are failing to understand is that Franken is inviting an investigation by the Senate; and don't tell me the GOP is not licking their chops and has offered to cooperate and can be appropriately censured. If he is forced to resign, so be it. No Democrat will (or should) come out in support of his actions.
