According to the Hiss Act, as amended in 1961, only convictions (after retirement) for "crimes of national security." Therefore, retirement pay could continue.
That being said, military retirees are still subject to the UCMJ. There is the possibility that he could be reactivated and charged under the UCMJ in order to stop his retirement.
