True, notwithstanding the fact that a favorite mantra of MAGAWorld is "We're not a democracy, we're a republic." Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) has said exactly that -
“Democracy isn’t the objective; liberty, peace, and prosperity are. We want the human condition to flourish. Rank democracy can thwart that.”
To the extent that democracy threatens their ChristoFascist ambitions, they're more than willing to abandon it.
